Once I graduate high school, I plan on going to Illinois State University to pursue a career in the medical field. At first, Illinois State wasn’t my number one choice when applying for colleges, but after visiting the school and touring the campus I immediately fell in love with the school. Illinois State is about two and a half hours away from home so it’s far but not too far. Now I am currently accepted into ISU’s nursing program and have already earned two scholarships from within the university.
My Major and Admission Requirements

My major when I go to college is going to be in nursing. The nursing curriculum at Illinois State extends over four semesters of full-time study. Each semester of the year provides practice of skills and knowledge through a variety of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences.
Here is a list of the requirements and course work needed for ISU. https://illinoisstate.edu/academics/nursing-bsn-traditional/
